Mado Ethiopia ("Mado", "we", "our") is committed to transparent data practices. We do not sell your personal data or track your behavior across third-party networks.
2. Information We Collect
When you use our Trip Planner, create an account, save favorites, or submit an inquiry to a tour operator, we collect only the information you explicitly provide:
- Account credentials (name, email, role selection)
- Saved expedition itineraries and favorited destinations stored in your session or account
- Direct inquiries sent to tour operators, which are transmitted directly to the respective verified operator
3. Storage & Security
Client-side preferences (such as recently viewed destinations and saved drafts) are stored locally in your browser's local storage. We employ industry standard encryption for any transmitted data.
4. Inquiries to Independent Businesses
When you contact a tour operator, hotel, or guide through Mado, you are establishing a direct relationship with that provider. We do not intermediate payment or retain commission on your transaction.
