About the Event
Timket is Ethiopia’s most spectacular religious and cultural festival. Thousands dressed in immaculate white robes accompany replicas of the Ark of the Covenant (Tabots) to bodies of water, culminating in a joyful re-enactment of baptism at Fasilides’ Bath in Gondar.
